where can i get about 100 cheap crickets? we are tired of going to the petstore once a week, which we obviously will still do, we would just like a cheaper easier way, because we live 30 mins from the petstore :banghead:

Getting them online in bulk is much cheaper than paying 14 cents per cricket at the store. I'd look into ordering from a place like georgiacrickets or flukers (order from a supplier relatively close to you).

great thanks i will look into buying them in bulk, because he goes through eighty crickets so fast!

Yeah when they hit a growth spurt they can certainly eat you out of house and home! I found that ordering 1000 (1/4'' as I recall - smaller size anyway) lasted about a month or so taking die off and growth into account. They fit into a 20g tank with a mesh top (rubbermaid bin would work too) and some paper towel tubes as housing. Fed them veg scraps to feed and hydrate them and it worked well enough until I started a dubia roach colony.
