Blonde wood

just wondering if anyone has used blonde wood. I'm planning on building a 4x2 enclosure. Also blonde wood have to be sealed ?

I used blonde wood for the enclosure I built. I don't recommend it. Blonde wood is something like birch or pine that's been whitewashed to make it lighter. It doesn't hold stain well at all.
All wood enclosures should be sealed, IMO. It helps protect the wood against moisture and staining.
