How much is too much dusting of insects?

What’s the proper amount to use when coating feeder insects, in my case Dubia roaches? See attached on how my are covered. Is this too much? I add about two pea size drops of powder and shake in a small container.

Lightly coated --- they look like a powder donut -- you dont want them that heavily coated
