I use a 20watt Repti sun tube light for 2 of my cages they are as long as the cages covering every little spot. i find the tube lights alot better and have also seen the effects of it covering everywhere.

it's a fairly common topic on this site that the coil lights are bad. Not because they don't spread to the whole tank, but because they can cause a lot of serious health issues with the beardies including, but not limited to blindness, fatigue, etc etc. MVB lights (the most touted of all uvb sources) only hits the basking spot with UVB and gives fantastic results.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
