I haven't heard good things about pet insurance for them. You'd have to read specific policies (Nationwide and other large carriers tend to have it) to see exactly what they will cover. CareCredit is also available to may payments on large expenses. Not every vet will work with it though. Ultimately I think it's probably best to set aside what you'd pay for a premium and build an emergency fund for vet expenses.
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
