Zak-n-Wheezie both just ate their first cockroaches!

I have blatta lateralis and they are real fast so I had to disable them by smushing them with a pencil which I threw away directly. I'm getting a little more comfortable with handleing the roaches. They still wiggle alot after you smoosh 'em.

They each gobbled down about 5.

Whoopeee! Now everybodies on roaches. I don't know why I say it like that. :roll:
They all still get silkies, butterworms, and everybody but Junior gets supers.
But now I don't need to worry so bad about running out of worms.

Yay for roaches! (Did I just say that? Ew!) I'm glad they liked the new feeder. Have you showed them their picture in Ripley's yet? Or are you trying to protect them from the negative aspects of fame, as lizardgrrl mentioned? Just tell them to always wear their undies when getting in and out of a vehicle, and they'll be fine. :lol:

Exactly what I was thinking Prisma! My son is on vacation camping right now. When he gets back I'm gonna see if he can stretch it for me. He works in a tatoo shop where they have to shrink and stretch patterns to the right size for the job.
My scanner/printer doesn't allow me to resize.

Hi there Zak and Weezie and their human slave!!

My kids and I just got done reading this thread, they are amazed by the 2 headed dragon, and we wanted to say hello.

Congrats on the birthday, the new food additions and your growing fan base. It must be so nice to know that you have so much positive energy flowing towards the little ones. I can't wait to see all the pics from the next year and so on and so on!!

A few side notes...ask your son if he could use the comic drawing for your tattoo!! Just a thought.

What did you ever wind up doing about handicapping the basking spot?

We are all very happy that you have enjoyed them. An even more pleased that the children did.

I'm still pondering the tattoo idea.

As far as the basking spot goes we stuck with the towel for now as it is easy for them.
And they can work their way under it if they want to hide. I have been gradually makeing it higher with a larger towel and a flat rock under it to firm it up. Today was the first time that they wanted to get up high.

They have been wanting to glass dance lately, that makes me feel sad. Poor babies!

Well the people from our local newspaper came out today. I have no idea what they are going write.
I'll keep everyone posted as to when they will be in the paper. An I'll make sure to post a link.
Oh by the way the paper is The Fresno Bee.

I had a very long day so I will fill everyone in, in the morning. I'm beat! :roll: it was a very exhausting day.

There are slower moveing roaches yes, but Z&W still wouldn't beable to chase them down.

OMG, I just found this post. Wow, that is so amazing. I mean it's one thing the looks you get going around town with a one headed dragon, I can't imagine people when they see a double headed one.
