ZooMed Digital Probe?

Hi. I have been having issues with my temps... never getting above 90. I have the reptisun 10.0 and a 65w flood light. I purchased the ZooMed digital probe and was wondering if that could be faulty or something. I have tried various lights to bring up the heat and it's not getting any hotter. I have the probe right where he basks. Any ideas would be great... Our Alex is in a octagon tank currently while we build a permanent viv. The dimensions are 23 inches in diameter and 24 inches high. Walmart has a great digital therm for $12. It is made for indoor/outdoor use so it has a probe. You could always try it to see it the zoomed one is working right. Try moving your light closer to the basking spot or vice versa. If that's not an option, try a 75W. Good luck.

I had the same problem with a 75w exotera bulb so I baught a 100w zoomed and now no problems keeping good temps
