Zak-n-Wheezie are actually just 3 weeks away from their 3rd Birthday. :wink:
Both the boys eat...pretty much equally.

Barb, I love that pic of the boys all pooped out! Trying to hide their heads under the blankie. They are just too sweet, makes you just want to snuggle them like crazy!

I apologize if you already answered these questions Barb!

Did you know when they were still in the egg that they would not be seperated at birth?

Do you have to do anything different with them, medically, then a regular beardie? Like, do they reuire extra calcium?

I had no idea that there were 2 until both noses were poking out of the egg. At that time we thought it was twins wasn't until hours later when they emerged the egg that we found out they were connected.

I give them maybe a dash more calcium than the others but must keep my eye on the urate to make sure we don't over due it. Other than that medically no psychologically yes. :lol: Also have a handicapped viv with no obsticals to get hung up on. Now lately I've noticed a bit of difficulty getting some of the greens down so I have to watch to make sure none are getting lodged in their throats and that they do not choke while eating salad.

Anything fun planned with the beardies today? It's gray, rainy, and chilly here so no outside time today for us. And, I am feeling a bit under the weather. But, it makes for a good day of snuggling! :wink:

Sorry to hear your feeling under the weather.

It's been quite cold for us this past week for this time of year. My beardies don't like yuky, windy, rainy, cold weather it makes them want to sleep. Yesterday we actually broke a record on lowest high temp for May 23rd made 110 year ago. I'm actually contemplating making a fire right now.

Katrina it has been hella windy here all week and the weekend has been even windier. ARG!!!
As I've mentioned before my beardies hate the wind and normally sleep it away.

Seeing those sleepy babies just made my day :mrgreen:

I use an oral syringe for my foodmelts too. Fastest way to get into them - they get so eager they bite onto the end of it, and I just squirt it into their mouths! We do tend to go through a few syringes that way though - Tsam has a very strong bite on him...

Hugely cute Barbara - though you got it up the windows and everywhere! (little bit of water and vinegar lifts it right off)

Thanks everyone...quick update on the slurries...not happening. I didn't have a problem with it but the boys did. Even though I was feeding them they were very upset about not getting their salad and salad dish at the same time, in the same place, everyday...when they can see that I'm handing out salads to everyone else. They were moping something horrible. I returned to giving them salads just much more finely chopped...they have to work harder at picking it up but it's easier to get down without getting stuck and they do not feel left out. So far so good and they are back to their not mopy selfs. I'll just continue in this way and check their throats daily for lodged food.

Here is a couple of random pic's from this morning just cause I'm so happy they are not sad anymore.

Those aren't tired eyes those are the eyes of beardies with a food buzz...they just
hammered 3 horns each.

One good thing about stuffing them with horns is they get to full to agrue with me about
basking. :lol:

Awww, bad mommy holding out salads from Zak and Wheezie. I'd pout too if I saw everyone else getting their salad bowls but not me. I'd think you didn't love me anymore

So happy to see happy boys, especially these two. It's a rare occasion that Zak doesn't have on a black beard.

Barb, tell Zak that I think he's very handsome without a black beard, and that I wish he'd do it more often
