lol, I don't think you're crazy.

I just started bathing Wolfgang in the tub, and I've thought once or twice what it would be like if I jumped in with him...Even though it's very shallow water. But afterall, he IS a boy. I'd feel weird, what with being a girl and all xD Maybe with my swimsuit on, but...That seems even weirder!

Oh, Ginger loves the shower and sits on my shoulder and doesn't scratch or bother me at all. I was more sort of wondering about the salmonella thing and it lurking more so in confined water (even without a poop-which would just send me for the hills running!!!). Ginger always either runs from her poop or she gets a bath and rinsed off before getting a shower or much handling if she's gotten messy. I'm probably being over-cautious concerning my own health. And I am probably delving into uncharted and unmentioned territory so I'll just leave this one alone. :wink:

I figure a beardie 'play pen' will be awesome for after swim sunnings too, all that concrete to suck up heat and get some bake time on. So you're not crazy. Believe me. Bath time and shower time have both come to mind for us here too.

We have large wire dog crates that we take outisde with her. So far she could escape from around the bottom...or practically anwhere at the right angle, but we'd never leave her side. My assumption is that they make them smaller or that someday she'll be so thick that she won't be able to get out. Either way, you could take the black insert out and let her sit on the concrete just fine.
