Seriously, I am very thankful for my cat. She finds and deals with any escapees pretty quickly, I'm starting to think she likes eating them just as much as my beardie does lol

You get excited when you see one of your bugs turned white and pick it off to feed to your baby first! Freshly shed bugs are the best bugs right?! So soft and a great change from the usual crunch.

Edit: when you mother buys a new heating pad for her hip and the next day your beardie claims it as his own by leaving a present on it and she actually gives it to you.

Your mother has gotten over touching superworms and is slowly getting over roaches (but doesn't realize they are reaches)

Mom refreshes his "hot tub" every day with fresh warm water for him to soak in as he does every morning.

You know where a dubia's favorite hiding spot is

You somehow become a person's emergency beardie advice contact.

You actually look for a lizard boarding place 6 months in advance for a week long trip to see distant familt.

I thought of a few more...

-When your friend's kid wants want a beardie and you tell them how much you love and adore them. Then go through the list of care and requirements. They tell you they want a dog instead, lol
-The people in the pet store know you on sight and ask how many crickets today
-You tell your coworkers about your dragons, and they are no longer surprised
-you get a daily laugh at bedtime looking at your dragon's sleeping position, and wonder how can that be comfortable?
-you get a warm fuzzy when your beardie gives you kisses
-when your husband sends you pics through out the day of your beardies doing silly things
-it's a beautiful sunny day outside and you are disappointed, because it's winter and too cold to take your scaly babies outside to enjoy it

When you start thinking about setting aside another extra $500 for a new tank, lighting, and beardie even though you're barely making rent and your electricity bill is sky high due to your existing vivariums =P

My mom actually is trained by our dragon...if she gets a syringe and fills it with water he will open his mouth and let her feed him water... Silly boy and mom. At least it trains him to take medicine anyway.
