So some of you may be wondering why I gave the title I did. Well, anyone who has played video games knows that there is one called Yoshi's Island. Well, here is His (or her) story...

Hi my name is Yoshi and I came to my slaves just a few days ago. Once for the past few weeks the two people would come into Petsmart and look at me and I would look back at them, close to the glass. I was trying to tell them to, "Please take me." Because I was in a tiny viv with 4 other beardies. It was very crowded, and I was the biggest beardie.
So a few days ago, my wish came true and the two people came and got me! I was SO happy to be getting out of that small viv, but I was also kind of nervous going to a new place.
When I got to my new home, it was so big! There were rocks, a branch, a cave and dishes for food and water. I am given yummy crickets and veggies. I am also given baths. I love my new home! Here are some pics that mommy took of me...

Mommy and Daddy say I sleep in strange places

I like to sit up high on my branch so I can see what Mommy and Daddy are doing.

I like to check to see if my temps are right. Mommy, Daddy...Don't you remember what those nice people on bd.org said? My basking temps should be between 100-105F and cool side should be around 80F.

My husband ordered Reptiworms from a site that someone else mentioned on this site. We ordered the small ones. Before Yoshi even tried them, we decided that when we order next, we are going to order the medium ones. Since the small ones are too small for me to find in the dirt they came in, my husband got some out for me and put them in a bowl for me to give to Yoshi. I turned Yoshi's lights on at 9am and fed him a few minutes after 10. I checked on him about 11:25am, and noticed all 25 worms were gone! I texted my husband and we both agreed that we had no idea he would eat them this quick. LOL

Mmmmm those worms were good Mommy!

He's actually looking over at the bowl. lol

Another good thing that is happening, is that he is shedding. He was shedding when we got him (about 16 days ago) and now he's started shedding again. He's shed his tail and now he has shed his legs, and they definitely look bigger.
We also got his ReptiSun uvb light a few days ago.

Hello Everyone...Hope you all and all the beardies out there had a good weekend.

On Saturday a friend of me and my husbands came over to visit, and he brought his Chinese water dragon Godzilla. Not long after they were here, Godzilla started exploring. This was okay, because he was pretty calm. Plus our friend stayed with us for awhile, so Godzilla remembered our place. After awhile we looked for him, and noticed that he climbed up to where Yoshi's viv was. He wasn't facing Yoshi, but just the fact that Godzilla was in Yoshi's site made him mad.
Here are two pics of how he reacted to Godzilla. After that happened, we told our friend that if he brings Godzilla, he has to watch him, because we don't want Yoshi stressing out like that again.

When we are cleaning his cage or just want to feed him in the late afternoon without taking the crix out of his home viv, we put him in a smaller viv. A lot of the time, he tries to play with his reflection in there. lol

Hi Everyone
Hope you all are having a good weekend. I haven't posted any Yoshi moments in a few days, so here are some goodies. Hope you enjoy.

We got him a new basking light, because the other one burned out. he seems like he's loving the warmth.

I was on this site last night when my husband noticed Yoshi was checking out what i was doing. lol

In this video, Yoshi is really not happy, because our friend brought over his Chinese water dragon Godzilla. Godzilla somehow got up to Yoshi's viv, and was sitting beside it. Yoshi was so stressed, that we told our friend that if he brings his dragon again, he has to kep an eye on him, because we don't want Yoshi that stressed. For a little guy, Yoshi actually does look scary in this video.

Hi everyone, it's been a few days, so I thought it would be a good time to share what's been going on with Yoshi. He's doing really well. He's been having quite a 'tude with daddy. I think he's trying to show he's a tough dragon. Last night he even hissed. He absolutely loves his reptiworms. We give him those for his breakfast, and for dinner, he gets his crix. Yoshi has also been shedding. Today I saw a decent size piece of shed skin in his pen. Anyway, here are some pics.

So a few days ago I had a long dress on that went to my feet. I think he liked the colors.

Okay, well our Yoshi has definitely come into his own. He has grown, and the reptiworms have been doing their job in helping him do that. He actually is going through his shedding right now. Whether this is a byproduct of that or maybe hes been going through lizard puberty, he is displaying an attitude. Certain situation will cause him to open his mouth at you, and he actually hissed at me one time. I am so glad that this bearded dragon seems to be doing so well. Here is some pics of him to add.

If I had to guess...I'd say Godzilla was about 13 inches from nose to tail. Godzilla isn't with our friend anymore, though, went to a new home. Before we knew our friend was going to give him away, we actually were telling him he had to keep an eye on Godzilla, because we didn't want Yoshi stressed.

Yoshi is really doing well. He loves his reptiworms. He's about 8 inches. He looks like he's going to be shedding soon too.
