Yoshi smells...

Little Yoshi smells like his poo. It's not strong, but still rather unpleasant. It's hard to snuggle him. I've given him a bath, but it hasn't helped.
-He's on reptile carpet that is completely washed in the washing machine- no poo smell.
-I cleaned his tank (complete wash with bleach, baked all his furniture) about 2 weeks ago.
-He's had a bit of a smell ever since I got him about 6 months ago, but it's worse now.
-Also, he doesn't like baths, but will tolerate them. I don't bathe him often because he "hyperventilates" in the tub, rapidly puffing his beard.
*a note- I used soap exactly 2 times on him. I didn't know soap was bad for him. He didn't ingest an soap or soapy water. (Sorry little buddy!)

What can I do?

I can only share a story. I took in a rescue who was smelly, also. He had been on carpet that was changed out every time he pooped. I put him on newspaper right away. Daily baths, and in about 2 weeks, the smell was gone. Hope this helps.

Okay, I'm gonna try that first, since $2.25 and a scrub bath is easier that newspaper for 2 weeks. Thanks to those who replied!!!
