Shes a lighter color when she sleeps, its on the hunt, being held, bathing and eating. The rest of the time she falls back to a darker color. She gets extremely dark when basking. She will move about without a hitch and her eyes don't seem to be bothering her with the light. She still poops and doesn't seem to be suffering at all that I can tell. Just when she basks she gets dark and very still. If I take her away and set her back in away from the basking light she will find her way back to it and lay down. Right this very minute shes basking and looking around, but still an extremely dark color. Sometimes she seems like she is spooked by something and will recoil as if to evade something. Of what I do not know. other then the new light and the greens in her tank there is no noticeable thing in the room that wasn't already there. She doesn't do it nearly as much when out of her tank
The megaray seems to be working out pretty well though I will monitor her over the next few days and see how she adjusts to it. At first I noticed the ground temp of the tank was too high to I rigged the light further away. I get a ground temp of 90.
I don't have a digital probe just a digital thermometer. I moved it to different spots when she was bathing and I let her roam a bit on my bed to exercise to get readings of different spots. I still need to get a digital probe, money limits have prevented me from spending too much.
EDIT: I was watching her and she laid there and puffed out her beard several times, one of which her arm moved back (like when propelling forward) and held it mid air. Then after a few moments relaxed and went upon her merry way basking and looking around
