Worried about my baby beardie?

This is my first bearded dragon and I'm not sure if he's okay and it's just me worrying but for the last couple of days he has been hiding and I haven't seen much of him. This is completley different behaviour compared to the start of the week when he was up at the glass and wanting to be held all the time. His viv and everything is the right temperature. He eats as many crickets as he can in 15 minutes, twice a day. I dust them once a day. He eats a few bits of salad but not much. He is still only small. Approx 6 inches. His UV is on for between 6-8 hours a day, heat is on through the night if it's cold. He has started shedding but he was shedding before and he wasn't acting shy. Any suggestions on what I can do or what is wrong with him? Thanks.

I would up his UVB time. He should be getting between 12-14 hours of light a day. What brand of UVB light are you using. Do you have a basking lamp/spot? What are your temperatures on his basking spot and his cool side?

He's super cute though! Hopefully he just has a touch of relocation stress. Mine was like that at first too...really active the first few days then started acting shy. But after another fews days he started picking up again.
