Worms?

Hi all,
I'd just like to get a bit of clarification.
We're getting a new baby beardie buddy and he's eating crickets now with his breeder now. The breeder says I can transition him to worms as soon as I get him. I understand that the silk and pheonix worms are good for them. Which other worms can I feed him for part of his staple diet with his vegies? I understand that the butter worms should be used as treats because of the high fat content. Stay away from meal worms and supers aren't good until he's bigger. Am I correct? Also when should I purchase the worms so they'll be here for his arrival on Christmas eve and how and where do I store them? I'm in MD. Anyone know if there are any local suppliers of worms also. Thanks for your help.

P.S. Do not ever feed your dragons wild caught hornworms. Toxins from the tomato plant that they consume will kill your dragon. Artificial diet for hornworms from companies that sell hornworms are safe! Hope this helps!
