Hey guys,

I've had my dubia colony going for about a month now. I've got 20 adult females, 5 adult males, and several hundred mixed sized nymphs. I gather feeders out of the colony once every three days. Yesterday I found two worms in my colony... both small black thin worms maybe 1/4" in length. I'll try to post pictures soon, but does anyone know what they could be and/or if they're dangerous to my beardies? I know that dubias can get parasites, but I really hope that's not the case here. I don't keep my colony outside, so that's not a factor. I suppose they could have come with the original roaches I purchased to start the colony - but being that I pick through it pretty often it seems like I would've noticed these things a while back, especially since I quickly noticed the two of them with one quick sorting. There could be more in there, I'm not sure. Any advice?

Thank you guys so much! I feel better now. My girls are just getting over a bout with coccidia & hookworms so I was terrified that I may have given them something else. However, I'm still curious as to how they got in there and where they came from. Will they breed & multiply... and can my dragons eat them?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
