I cleaned up my beardies poop today and noticed an 1/8" little white wprm in it, I have already left a message with my breeder for a reptile vet reccomendation and am currentley awaiting his call. i was wondering if there is anything I can do to help my dragon until I get her to a vet? I just cleaned her cage out the other day. She is on tile and everything is up to par as far as beardeddragon.org standards pretty much, my temps I was told could use to go up about 5 degs but the rest is good. She eats roughly 30-40 med crickets a day with access to a good salad all day long. She is 14 1/4" long and 4 to 4.5 months old and has doubled her length in the 2 1/2 months I've had her. She is still very active and has shed completley twice in my time with her and is waiting for her head and body to complete shed number 3. (her legs and tail shed monday through wedensday of this past week) After I noticed the worm I looked at her pretty good and she does have a little extra skin on her sides when turning around but am unsure if this is caued by the skin getting ready to shed or early signs of malnourishment as the wrinkles are slightly more pronounced than normal. Her poop is sometimes soft but I woulnd never have said she had diarreaha, just a couple softies then normal hard poops, this has been going on for a few weeks I always attributed it to having too much, or not enough of something (i.e. calcium, vitamins, fruits, veggies or bugs) The poop with the worm in it was a hard one with no liquid at all and very dark. I dust her crix with flukers calcium w/ d-3 about 5 times a week then empty them onto her salad so I don't waste any powder, and flukers repti-multi vitamin about 3x a week(out for 2 weeks need to go get more but had to pay the rent you know how it goes). I also wanted to add that when cleaned hr cage I also removed what sand I had in with her as it was getting old, and also heat and uvb are provided via 1-160watt solar-glo MVB. Anyway thanks in advance for responding and all help is appreciated.
