Worm casings?

So after my last post saying Mort doesn't like calci-worms... well, yeah, now she does. In fact she loves them! I know not to feed them everyday so they're more once or twice a week max type of meal. If she's having a really fussy day sometimes one worm to start gets her alert for crickets.

My only worry: there are quite a few worm casings in her poop. Is this okay? They're empty so the inners are digested. Mort seems fine behavior wise and poop schedule wise. If that's just how they get digested then I won't worry about it.

How are you temps? Sometimes they come out completly whole, i think its a maggot thing. :0

I wouldn't think it's a big concern unless they are all coming out that way? (Again, check temps) If the exoskeletons are not getting digested however, then she isn't as likely to be getting the calcium as the exoskeleton is where it primarily is.

Temps good - about 110F in basking spot, overall 90ish on warm side, 75ish on cool side. UVB strip too of course and she is currently getting a good 2hr of lovely natural sunshine and heat most days now. She likes to sit in the studio window with me while I work.

5-6 casing in her poop, she ate about 15-20 worms last time it was her meal (3 days ago). So it's just a few casings overall.
