Wont Eat

Hi,
I have a baby Beardie,He is alert because everytime I Got to handle him he flares his Fangs.LOL hense the name "FANG".I did get some good advise on how to handle this problem.But now I have had him for almost two days.And he has no interest in eating.There are like 5-6 small crickets and a small bowel of Butter mix greens.(pre packaged Lettuce ). Fang is caged in a 20 Gallon tank,UVB 3/4 way accross tank,with a basking spot hovering around 95-100. And a night lamp on all the time to help keep cooler side around 85-90. Subtrate is plain ole newspaper.Also has small water dish. I also noticed he has not pooped,want him to so I can take to vet and have him and his poop tested for any parasites. So I guess my question is,How often do they eat and poop,and how much should I feed a baby beardie.And all all he does is hang out on the cooler side near water dish.I know the basking side is ok Use both a regular and digital thermometer to check.MY UVB bulb is about 3 months old,had used it for my turtles. It is however a 5.0 I believe cant remember.Dont wnat to throw it out just yet and get a 10.0.

Sometimes they have relocation stress and it takes them a bit to warm up to eating.

Do you know what kind of lettuces are in the package? The best staple / easier to find greens are collard greens, turnip greens and mustard greens. There are other ones too but those three are the only ones I can find locally.

You don't want his cool side to be 85-90. The cool side should be 75-85 during the day and it can go down to low 70s at night. If he is a baby his basking spot should be closer to 105 as well.

Thanks for the info.The bags of lettuce just say sweet butter, Sweet blend of Green Butter and red leaf,I did chop up to smaller peices.I will re-adjust the basking side. to make it a little hotter.I was told to keep at around 95-97.
