Neither one of my beardies will touch veggies with liquid calcium on them. Just out of curiosity I tasted it and it was incredibly bitter. I'd always heard that reptiles couldn't taste bitterness, but when i sprayed it on some collards, Richard hated it so much that he wouldn't eat collards for weeks! I don't remember what brand it was - just that it was in a white bottle.
Calcium isn't really a problem - Dubs eats Phoenix worms, and although Richard doesn't care for them he cheerfully eats dusted crickets. I've just read so many folks whose dragons take liquid calcium, but my two big old pooter heads won't!
(and any advice on getting Richard to eat Phoenix worms would be appreciated - I've tried waiting until he was really hungry, mixing them in with his greens, and alternating them with his crickets - nuthin'!)
