Won't eat crickets

Ok so spike used to wake up and eat 25 crickets in the morning and another 25 for dinner...I introduced him to Phoenix butter and meal worms ( can o' worms) and he doesn't want crickets anymore

I can put 30 or so in his Viv but he wont really touch them he'll have a few but not like before...he still eats his salads...actually alot more now but the crickets not really

What can be the problem?

He's 2 1/2 months old...yes he still eats his salads, the phoenix worms some what..the butter worms, wax he loves but I know u can't give it to him too often...his temps are the same as always, he's growing pretty quickly..I have switched to bigger crickets I'm not sure if that's the issue...i went from small to mediums..1/4&3/8 to 1/2&3/4 should I try going back...I want him eating more protien
