Wondering about a Blue Tongue Skink

The hubby already had told me we're not getting another beardie now for at least another year or so sooooo I am wondering about blue tongue skinks...how easy are they to take care of? Temperment? Housing, longevity, etc.

ANn ideas would be appreciated, I love these and am debating on getting one, once I can convince the hubby

I love Blue Tongues, we had one at work for a while who hated everyone but me,

I could do what ever I wanted with her, she even ate from my hand. She was a sweetie
