Just recently iv'e noticed Rex closes one eye quite a bit, its not always the same eye so i don't think its an infection in a certain eye.

He does it sometimes when he is in his viv but always when he is sitting on me. Is this normal? wasn't sure if he was just resting a eye

I have correct lighting in viv so its nothing to do with having a coil bulb etc. I have a reptisun 10.0 tube and 60w basking light.

He doesn't seem ill and eating loads, very active so not too worried just wondered is it normal!??!

Thanks

do you have the basking light set up very near to the uvb? if they look into the light it could hurt their eyes...

or

where [--------] = uv source
and [0] = basking
