I've only had my BD for a month or so and since it's settled in it wont poop anywhere else other than the food bowl :S like multiple times a day. The up side is that it makes it easy to remove (not having to replace papertowelling/wipe up) so the viv is cleaner, the down side is making multiple salads a day.... maybe it's because eating salad stimulates a poop?

I just whanted to add my experiance to this my lil boy likes to drop his load on his basking rock almost like he whants everyone else to bask in the ambiance then runs to the other side of his tank like if its going to chase him down or something and believe me the smell of cooking poo is a smell to be aquired.

Lilly doesn't poop in her tank much any more, but the last time she did, she got under her paper towels to do it and even managed to get some under the tile (her tank is 1/3 paper towel and 2/3 tile because I didn't get the tile cut right ).

Whenever Smid poops in her tank (normally she goes in the bath) she seems to like to poop off of something, like her log or her hide. Most times it just hits the floor, but sometimes it gets the thing she is pooing off of too

Ok, you are a newbie so we will forgive you for not knowing that poop is a common topic around here. Not going, smelly, undigested, getting pooed on, painting their viv with it. You get the picture? You have much to learn Grasshopper.

I've been here plently long enough to EXPECT to see that kind of stuff. I don't think I'll ever be here long enough to WANT to see it. That's just weird.

Then obviously you are not familiar with the HPD (Happy Poop Dance) ???? Everybody's doing it. It's all the craze, man!!

I had to add my poop story:
We had to force feed baby food to our baby. He was on my husband's hand, and after the first pulling to open the mouth and fill it with puree, he giggled and pooped right on the hand.
Kind of said: this is what I think of you guys forcing me to eat!

My other beardie used to poop in the food bowl, but yesterday we moved it when we changed the substrate (from sand to carpet), and today he seemed really lost! He did not poop at his usual time, I guess he did not know where to go! Ah ah, I saved my salad for once!
That was quite funny, until he released a gigantic log while chasing his crickets...
