Hello,
Just start off, I’ve never “helped” my beardie shed. I’m just curious, why is it that when they’re shedding we can’t help, but they can just rip it off?
For example, my beardie is doing a full body shed right now, and this morning used her claw to pull off a piece of shed from her stomach. I’ve always heard it’s bad to do that as a person, so why can they?
Do they have like a sense of when it’s ready? Or is it after a certain point when it’s ready, it’s okay to take off?
