My son bought our BD, Smaug, on Saturday, and by today, Tuesday, I already adore the little lizard! :love5:

He usually goes to sleep in his "cave", but he seemed restless last night. I turned off his lights and put him in his cave, but he kept coming out and eyeing me up. I decided to scoop him up and take him with me into the living room and hold him while I sat on the sofa and watched TV. I partially covered him with one hand, and he flattened himself against me and fell asleep. So cute! Of course, if I moved, he woke up, but when I got up and put him into his cave, he stayed there and slept until morning.

Here are some pics!

I understand. My three.beardies pull on my heartstrings every night. They will not go to sleep unless someone wraps them in their soft blankets, and holds them close. Been holding the three of them at bedtime for two and a half years. I wouldn't change a thing. Now I Can't go to bed without Beardie cuddles. It is addictive.

Enjoying her window time!

The Siamese has been conquered.

This pic doesn't quite show the awkwardness of that moment. Nobody was comfortable!

One Bearded Dragon, one partially Bearded Eric. She had crawled up against him to snuggle.

I like Smaugette. she has grown a lot. Ember like to climb on the puppy, but the other dogs run.

I had to do a quick run to my local grocery yesterday evening, and I hadn't spent any time with the Smauggie-girl all day (darn work!) so I put her in her little pouch and snuck her in. I kept it zippered while she was in the basket, but opened it for the car ride home. We discussed veggies, and food, and what a good girl she was being in public. LOL.

Smile! Think she was happy to be back home.

I bought it at the reptile show last month. I'm not sure who it was ... It was sold for sugar gliders, but works for BDs., too.

This morning, as I got ready for work. She loves climbing on the Siamese, Sami. Sami is the most easy-going of our 3 cats. She's a sweetheart, very tolerant, and laid-back (and cozy, according to Smauggie-girl). We had Sami shaved at the end of July, and, as you can see, the fur grows back quickly! My two female are both long-haired, and the summer is tough on them!

My neighbor is very domesticated - makes crafts, sews, etc. I put "an order in" with her to make her a mattress/pillow to sleep on, but I don't know when she will have it done. It's funny, because she is TERRIFIED of "lizards", as she calls BDs and other reptiles of that nature, but she says that she'll make the pillow ... so long as I keep "the lizard" away from her!

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
