I've got 7 adults females in colony and 4 adult males right now!

so hopefully i'll see some soon; whats their justation period for females? 30days?

well my 17in dragon would eat about 40 large crixs a day, i started feeding him roaches since he's super picky and became uninterested in them. he eats about 4 adult dubia in the morn and about 10 supers at night. the Dubia roaches are way more meaty then the smelly nasty crickets, i weighed an adult today and she came in at 3.5 grams, a cricket i dont believe will register on my scale.

Do you feed the adult males? When your bd becomes 17in or so is it then okay to use feeders larger than the width between the eyes? That would be great use for the extra males

Well from my understanding the space between the eyes rule still applies, but as they get older they have a greater ability to eat the adults. Mine also chews his food rather well and sometimes bites them in half, which is kinda gross. All you can do is feed a small amount to see if your dragon can handle them properly. I've also heard of people feeding adults around 12inches in length, i personally waited till he was about 16-17 before i tried to feed him anything remotely big.

I started off small by just feeding 1 adult roach, then his normal diet. i waited a day to make sure his poop was fine and that there wasnt any issues with digestion. I also did the same for super worms, start small and slowly build.
