Where did you order your mega rays from?

Anyone ever do business with this website?

I called my local pet store to inquire about these bulbs but they didnt have them, so i am forced to order online and beg Brian to hold on a few days longer.

Where have you all gotten your bulbs from? I live in canada so i need to order online!!

Would greatly appreciate any help!! Thank you!!

I just ordered my mega ray from that site. I was pleased with their service. After reviewing their website, I called them to ask what wattage I should order for my new 75 gallon tank (48 x 18 x 21) since I was getting mixed feedback after reading other peoples comments as to what wattage to get - the 100 watt or 160 watt SB. Reptile UV told me I should definitely get the 160 watt. I WAS originally going to order the 100 watt before I called. I'm glad I called. My temps would have been way too cold. I get a basking temp now of around 105 being 19-20 inches away. (I have a digital temp thermometer with probe - by Acu Rite)

I believe a lot of things factor into your temps. i.e. like how cold your house gets, where you keep your viv in the house etc. This is probably why some on this website needed just the 100 watt for their 75 gallon tank. My house is always on the chilly side. My best advice would be call them if you have any questions - it can't hurt. Good Luck.

I ordered it yesterday evening, im counting the seconds until it arrives...Ive got Brians basking light on souly...I hope its not doing him too much harm like that for a few days...

Im expecting at least a week wait for the bulb.

If you order in the beginning of the week, Mon or Tues, you will have it by Friday. If you order it Wednesday it is a crap shoot.

If your beardie was under a good UVB for some time and not pregnant you shouldn't even worry about it. A healthy beardie, that has been under a decent UVB bulb for a good amount of time will have no problem going a couple of weeks. Although I don't recommend it.

No see that was precisely my problem. With his skidishness i began to suspect a poor uv source. I have since learned that the zilla bulb i had was good for nothing, which is why i ordered. Since turning it off - his hes been eating a tiny bit better. I have been trying to expose him to natural light outside for uv but so far its been a pretty cloudy day

Oh and also, i live in toronto Canada. Thats why im expecting it to take a slightly bit longer than usual

thats where i got my mega ray from and chubz just LOVES it ! his colors really stand out too now. .. i wont buy anything else but a mega ray from here on out.. plus the customer service i got from them was top notch.
