I have a baby 6 inch. He's in a 10 gallon tank. When should I transfer him to the big tank? :? (36 inches long. 18 wide and 12 inches tall..40 gallon?). :study:
But wouldn't that make it hard for him to catch his crickets? He has a pretty hard time already (they hide under house, newspaper, etc.) :study: just wondering..
Are you talking about when you move him into a bigger tank, or when you take him into a separate bin for feeding?
If the latter, it depends. It hasn't happened to me but it has to some dragons. If your dragon is healthy and has a good appetite, he shouldn't get totally freaked out in a separate bin filled with food. It might take some getting used to but its much easier than having to fish crickets out of his tank when they hide or he doesn't eat them all.
I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
