What's your Beardies name??

I have been reading a lot of posts on here recently and I noticed that most beardies are given unique names by their loving owners. I will start.

:laughing6: My beardie's name is Cinque. It is italian for the number 5. Sounds cool though.

I just fully adopted him. A friend had him and couldn't really take care of him. I just moved him in yesterday. But we've already bonded a great deal. So now I look forward to seeing him when I get home everyday!

I've got a male named Frank, a female named Sunny, a female named Chloe, and a baby on the way named PeeWee but we don't know if it's male or female yet!

Our beardies' previous owners didn't give them names, so we got to do it! We now have Lady Fromage (fromage is French for "cheese", and her throat is the exact color of cheddar cheese). And our male is Brick, because he likes to pretend he's a tough guy and nothing else fit. My sister and I later changed this to Captain Brick Bordeaux (Bordeaux is a type of wine), so that he and Lady are like wine & cheese!

My male is Leonidas Dean
And my females:
Ryelee Faye
Bailey Emerald
Audrey Lemon

My husband picked the name Leonidas from the movie 300..originally we thought we had a female and she was named Skeeter Loo..but when confirmed Matt named him Leonidas and I chose Dean because I LOVE James Dean! He goes by Leo or Big Pappa for short

Ryelee Faye, well all my girls are on a "lee, ley, ey" sounding names, so since she is my red leatherback, Ryelee seemed to suit her..and Faye just sounded pretty with it.

Bailey Emerald, following the same "lee, ley ,ey ,ly" sounding names, and also after Baileys Irish Cream and Emerald since I am a May baby.

Audrey Lemon, following the same criteria, and also cause I love Audrey Hepburn. Lemon, because she is a hypo/citrus pastel, and she looks like a little lemon drop, and the first time Matt saw her, he called her his little Lemon baby

We named ours Luna...after Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter. She is hilarious. Now I just hope she really is a she. She is currently about 2 months old.

The reason I picked out two names for my beardie (used together for now) is so if Zalaika Zee turns out to be male, I can shorten to just Zee. She's beginning to recognize either Zalaika or Zee as distinct words that catch her attention when I'm speaking to her. I've heard lizards can learn their names.

Quetzalcoatl, nicknamed Quetza or Quetzal.

But I've been calling him Pretzel the whole time. xD It's the only thing that will stick for me. My dogs undergo name transformations too (Little Bit somehow became Dude; Traveler became Kitty, etc.)

We named him Toothless originally, to try and score "cool points" with my nephew. But it didn't stick.
