Whats your bearded dragon's favorite food?

My boy loves mealworms and carrots,maybe that is why he is so orange!.

Just wondering: do you feed dandilion greens or the actual yellow flower? Spike has ALWAYS been a picky eater. His favorite is waxworms. Need to try hornworms.

Beardies can eat the whole lot. Mine prefers the greens, but will occasionally take a flower.

Thanks for the info. I have always wanted to try them but was afraid to. Spike is sooooo picky. He never was much of a veggie eater. Just got some hornworms and he seems to like them pretty well. I just don't know how Spike is so healthy considering he won't hardly eat veggies.

Same with Dexter. He will only eat a few bites of greens every day. But the food is gutloaded, and the greens are always available when he wants it.

Just gotta let him decide what he needs I guess.

My Dragon loves Buternut Squash and can't get enough of it, I usually make a salad of mustard & collard greens , butternut squash , garbonzo beans , and shreaded carrot. He really pigs out on the squash w/ garbonzo's and carrots coming in a close second. I'll have to put him on a diet soon

Anything live! But when it comes to veggies Charles likes PEPPERS! and Burta loves collard greens!

Dandelion greens - of course it would be the most difficult greens to find... :wink:

And micro superworms. She will go crazy for superworms. She's never turned down a live meal, but when the superworms come out, I think she would do anything I asked of her to get to them. Since she's so young, I only give them to her about once a week, and then only a few, but I really believe she would continue eating them until she popped, given the chance. (Since she's three months old today, she got a few with her breakfast. She was most pleased. She was jumping for the tongs before they were anywhere near her.)
