Does anyone know why my adult male dubias wings are getting like this? It looks like the other roaches are eating them or something? i really dont know whats happening.
what should the ratio be? so will the males fight is that why?9 times out of 10 it's because your male:female ratio is off. You have too many males.
Less common it's a lack of food issue.

wait so wouldnt they fight if there were 3 of them and only 1 female then?If there are too many males per female, the males will fight yes.
3 males per female is what I would aim for.
No. 3:1 is the preferred ratio. Have you counted your males and females?wait so wouldnt they fight if there were 3 of them and only 1 female then?
When I started breeding dubias, I read about recommendations from one of the local roach sellers.wait so wouldnt they fight if there were 3 of them and only 1 female then?
Sorry, typo, you want 3 females per male, not 3 males per female like I previously statedwait so wouldnt they fight if there were 3 of them and only 1 female then?
