What to feed during the day?

Forgive me if this was already talked about, but I really need this answered. My dragon is a male, and about 3 months old. I'm still in high school and I work so I can't feed him crickets more than 3 times a day before his lights turn off. My question is this; is there something i can leave in his tank (worms, beetles, ect.) that can't climb out of a little bowl? I know that phoenix worms are the best, but they're alot of money and he doesn't really eat them anyway. I need something, other then greens, that I can put in his tank while I'm not around for him to eat. Thanks!!!

They actually have something called a mealworm feeder, its probably not sold in stores but you can just look it up online. I don't really recommend it though because its not good to be feeding too many mealworms because of the worms exoskeleton. I can't really think of anything else though :study:

If I were you I'd just leave some greens in a bowl while you are away. That is what I do when I am away at work/school. I feed my males a lot in the morning with crickets/roaches, and again when I come back from school and before leaving for work. I usually leave a small bowl of mint leaves, basil, green beans, watercress, dandelions...etc for them to munch on if they are hungry.

You don't need to feed your dragon more then three time a day. Feeding as much as he'll eat twice a day is plenty, along with greens provided all day in his cage.

I leave a bit of Dragon Bites in their cage with some of the moist zilla pellets, they are really good for them and mine LOVE it. Anytime I pick the dish up they get excited, and when I put it down the go right for it, even if they just had Dubia. I highly recommend that stuff.

It will make your dragons poop green, but according to a lot of people on this forum and some extensive research I have done, that is completely 113% normal.

My girl eats her dry food during the day whenever she feels hungry. I also put some mustard greens and blueberries in there for her to eat. She loves blueberries alot lol
