What to do with a too-large hornworm

Tazz has been off his food again (he's getting to be a stately old fellow and picky) so I got him a cup of horn worms that were the perfect size. Three days later, I understand why they are also called goliath worms.
Holy.
Giant.
Worm.
It's too big to feed Tazz, I'm pretty sure. It's three inches long.
Now what?!
What do I do with this thing? I don't have enough food for it to turn into a moth. How big is too big for beardies? I've always followed the rule of no larger than the space between their eyes. Tazz is a big guy, but I don't know about this one...

Hi there,

Is tazz fully grown? Although quite large, a fully grown dragon can eat a fully grown hornworm.

In the future, keep them cooler, and they wont grow as quick. A insulated cooler with an ice back in it will work.

:)
