LOL would they bring it back? (fyi : I am a kid who is the official get pets and take care of them for the class person LOL) But I would end up keeping them so I can imagine that as a good thing....

when the leo gecko is young you will have to feed it every day, but once it get sub-adult to adult it can go the weekend without eating and be fine. adult leo geckos will only need to eat about 4-5 times a week. also, in the books i have read, and in my experience leo geckos [because they are nocturnal] dont need a uvb light. [?] but they will need a heat source, and for fire reasons i would have that on a timer for sure. plus the diet is simple. crickets. thats about it. hehe. dusted of course! also i would lean closer to the 2 femles rather than 4, but i dont have much experience trying to house more than one together. :dontknow:

eeeewwww your brave to even suggest a tarantula.......*Chills*

the tree frog will be a very pretty viv. there are alot of creative things you can find and put in there. thats a nice idea.

Good Luck!!!

Yep I love taranchulas but my science teacher (a guy) about flipped at the idea... "I would be too scared to even come into my room with that harry beast no ... no taranchulas...no spiders!" But he liked the idea of leos and green tree frogs!

LOL, it is so funny how guys like to pretend they are all macho, but are afraid of a little bug. My hubby is afraid of tarantulas too, and I used to keep them as pets and hold them all the time when I was a teenager. Now my kids catch the wild ones out here and feed them and let them go. Leos and frogs are cuter though.

Leos can be very friendly and easy to hold pets. My 13 year old sister takes care of our three girls and they are doing really well. They don't require UVB and you can feed them either crickets or mealworms. they require an under the tank heater at all times because they need belly heat to digest their food. After they are well settled in their tank, they will likely come out during the day (I have three and they rarely hide).
Which reminds me. They need three hides in their tank for each creature (for example: my 30 gal tank has 9 hides total). At least one each on the warm side above the UTH, one each on the cool side, and one each humid hide generally placed in the center or near the warm side. Having enough hides for everybody spreads out and reduces aggression. If you are planning on putting multiple leos together, you will want three or more for the same reasons. That way no one gecko is getting bullied by the other.

Tarantulas are a good choice as well, except they tend to hide most of the time.
Red bellied toads would be great in a 20 gallon as long as you provide a wet area.
Anoles don't really make that great a pet. They get stressed out really easily and need to be misted everyday to get water. Plus the need uvb.
A 29 gal would be nice for one painted turtle.

I am deffinatly thinking a Leo now! I am gonna shoot my SciTeach a fm about it! I think he will love having 4 girls to take care of! * I get to take care of LOL* I will have to wait a while though, Cause he just took in 15 (rescue) hermit crabs for me! So no he has 17 crabbie babbies... I have 18 crabbie babbies... the actual crabs... and my Science Teacher LOL!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
