What makes your bearded dragon unique?

Every bearded dragon has a different personality.
How does yours stand out?

One thing I find funny about my bearded dragon is that he falls asleep looking at himself in the mirror. He has looked at himself in the mirror for a whole day, and fell asleep a few times while doing it. He just can't get enough of that mirror

My male "Spike" enjoys curling up on our shoulders when we sit on the couch, he will wiggle his butt in so he gets comfortable and he passes out cold.

My female "Lemon Drop" will only sleep on us if she can climb inside the pocket on my wife's robe and stick her head out. She also refuses to eat Dubias from her bowl, only from my hands.

Our rescue "Gus" acts like a prisoner in a maximum security prison, when his food hits the cage floor, he eats like someone is gonna steal it from him unless he wolfs it all down.

Striker my male comes when his name is called and when I tap my forearm he will climb out of his cage and climb up my arm.He also will only eat supers while sitting on his bed when I feed them to him with tongs.

Athena the diva will not go to sleep unless she is tucked in to her bed at night She like to have me hold her bowl while she eats supers as she will not put her face in her bowl to eat.

Cleo loves to snuggle around my neck cuddled in her blanket or sleep with her stuffed bunny in her viv. She knows her name and likes to look at the dog tries to make friends with him all the time.

when i had Igor out earlier, he was scampering away from me, but i called his name and he stopped, looked at me, and came right back lol. hes just a lil guy and ive only had him one month, so im gonna call it a coincidence

Spike has discovered he likes my head, so when I'm laying down he'll walk over and plant himself over half my face. Once he's settled he won't be moved. He'll either puff up and gape or gouge me with his spikes.

He gets really over excited when he eats, but he still seems to take the position of my fingers into account and he's never bitten me yet (while feeding anyway).

He walks over to his salad bowl and throws it around when he wants some more.

He LOVES a good scrub with a soft toothbrush. He was stained red from previous owners and hated the scrubbing at first. Now he closes his eyes and chills. However, if I wrap him in a towel, he's almost garuanteed to flip out and bite me.

Grendel and Maximus are unique because they wear hats. I have a photo blog for them (see my sig), and I take pics of them wearing hats. They both pose really well and don't seem to mind at all.

They also get along well with my cats. Grendel likes to just chill on me or in her viv, and the cats will share my lap with her or sit on top of her cage, and she doesn't mind at all. Maximus is more likely to run toward the cats, and he seems to want to play with them. I have to keep a careful eye, but so far, there have been no mishaps (don't worry; I would never, ever leave a beardie alone with a cat).

Both Grendel and Maximus are also swimmers. They stick their heads down in their bath water and wiggle their bodies and swim around. It's adorable!!

hes not keep on bedtimes. and when hes grumpy, i know about it.

Mine will only go to sleep if he is in my bed. Seriously, I've accidentally left him in his viv with the lights on till 2am and he'll be sitting at the corner of his viv waiting to be put to bed. Soon as he's in bed he's out cold. :roll:

We're still relatively new to our beardy, but notice she likes to try to keep an eye on us. She climbs to the top of her cage in her plant, and watches us. Or she will cling to the side of her cage she she can peer out at us. She's probably watching that we don't come and try to catch her. She's still a rather skittish dragon, but she is slowly getting used to us.

What makes my little scamp unique is that even though I've only had him/her for a week and Petey seems to be comforted by me. When Petey is having a bath, my hand must be in sight, when theres others around, Petey climbs up to my neck and pushes his/her little head into my chin. It makes me think of a hug. Frig! Petey's cute!!!!

What makes Waffle unique is that when he sees one of our cats, he will automaticaly run up to the glass and seemingly taunt our cats by attacking the glass or doing a little "dance" on the glass. Annoys the heck out of the cats :roll:

I have heard that most bearded dragons like shiny things. Well, Dude absolutely LOVES anything shiny. He'll run up to any shiny object, lick it, and then begin to cuddle with it

Ezra won't poop in his tank unless I put a paper towel down in there. If there's no towel, he'll wait till someone holds him, run away from them, and then go.

Last night, he fell in love with "the furry mountain that makes a comfy bed" aka my 20 year old, completely senile cat, Katy. Like I said, she's bonkers, so she doesn't care who's paying attention to her, lizards, squirrels, humans, whatever, as long as she's getting attention. She didn't mind that he fell asleep on her head.
