If he has been eating only dubia for a while, he may eat 3-4 pieces. Now he gets a couple of locusts every other day.

Handsome! It is very similar to a grasshopper conocephalus melaenus, but as far as I know it does not live in the United States. Is this your pet?

This is in the U.S, found it in my dad's backyard a few years ago. I think the sun just hit it the right way to catch the super shine. I was showing it to my niece + nephew and then it hopped away.

Cute baby! There are only lizards in my backyard, apparently they protect my yard from grasshoppers
