Hi everyone i want to get a bearded dragon but don't know what light/heat should stay on at night time

You do need a light at night unless your house gets in the low 60s (Fahrenheit) at night. If it does, I ceramic heat bulb could be used. It just makes heat and no light.

Heat pads are bad for dragons. They cause burns because they are not good at feeling belly heat. You don't need any heat source at night unless the temp falls below 65. It is actually good to let a beardies temp fall at night.

if it gets really cold at night you can use a heat emitter. my house is pretty cold at night and i forgot to turn jaydens heat emitter on and when i woke up the next morning her temp in her viv was only around 58

You could. But what are you using to take temps? I use a 100w in my 40g and could use a 75 instead if I wanted to drop the lamp a few inches.

I'm using dial thermometer but I check it all the time with a "human thermometer" and it's accurate... My house temp stay between 70 and 75 F.

when you say human thermometer, do you mean one you would use to check your temperature with? If so you need either a digital thermometer with a prob or a temp gun, the dial theremometers can be up to 20 degrees off in either direction. I have 40 gal breeder tanks and I use 100 watt bulbs and my temps are just fine.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
