What is this bump? (Photo included)

We had a similar bump taken off her tail a few years ago, but unfortunately it was from a regular vet and was quite expensive.
My question is if we even need to have this removed?
As far as I can tell, it doesn't affect her at all and the 3 other beardies we have don't have this issue.

She is healthy and eats and poops just like the others.

Can anyone tell what this is, and if I DO need to have it removed, any good herp vets in the SoCal area?

Hello,

That looks like an abscess possibly. Is it hard or soft to the touch?
It will likely need to be drained or aspirated to see if it is infectious. Personally, I would have it removed because an abscess will fester & can cause illness eventually.
It could be a cyst or tumor, too. At the very least, have it looked at to see if they can determine which it is. I am glad it doesn't seem to bother her though!
I am sure someone will chime in on a vet in that area.

It's soft to the touch. I will be checking on a few hero doctors in my area.
