What incubators do you use?

Hey, everyone what are your favorite incubators/thermostats or diy?

currently use havobators but have plans to build a custom in the very near future.

I built mine, cost me about $25 and although I am still waiting for my first dragon clutch to be laid *fingers crossed* I have hatched out leopard geckos just fine! My temps stayed eactly where I wanted them.

Do you use a thermostat with those because I hate mine and I am looking to get the reptibator from zoomed!

They have a built in thermostat. It is the round wafer. Also you still want to use a good thermometer. What type are you using now?

Planning to purchase a broke down wine fridge or something of that sort (just want a glass door).

I have fluctuations and hate it and I use a pe-1 temp gun. I use a hovabator.

Is it holding the humidity ok? And did moving it into another place work? If not you need to change the wafer.

If I move it to a cooler place will the temp stay at 83? yes, the humididty stays at 84%

Just am streest about maybe deformetes in the babies. But I don't think that it will happen, also because sometimes I won't be home to watch them sometimes.

As long as we arent talking about extreme fluctuations you are fine. You can incubate eggs as low as 79 (takes forever) and they can tolerate temps as high as 86-87. Anything higher and it will kill the eggs.
