I am thinking about breeding discoid roaches in my garage. Since I live in central Florida and they are native her I dont think I need alot of the stuff other people need like heating pads and stuff the make it humid.

Has anyone else started a colony in Florida and what did they need?

Thanks for any help!

Where did you get your discoids from? I looked into starting a colony about a year ago and even though they are legal in FL, I couldn't get anyone to ship to me because they were being overly cautious. :banghead:

Mulberry farms is the only place I have found them.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
