I was really upset the other day because my dubia colony is finally big enough to feed off of and my older dragon Blaze wouldnt even look at it (I only put one in to see what she would do). She is lazy and they move rather fast, so I think she is like F*** it. My other one Puff isn't eating anything but babyfood right now cause he is recovering from parasites. So I hope he likes them when he is better.

I am rather interested in the quantities some of you are saying particulary with the live feed, if I fed both Merlin and Guinevere 50 to 80 cricks each per day it would be costing me in the region of 20 euro a day plus veg. Average box of cricks are approx 40 and cost 5 euro multiply that for 4 boxes a day 7 days a week and its 140euro a week just for that. Somehow the numbers dont ring quite true.
Comment guys because either I am starving mine and need to get rid of them or there are some very very large Beardies out there.
Cheers

I feed Wally (9 months) somewhere between 0 and 7 crickets a day. It really depends on what she's had.

I've read a lot of places (books, websites, a pamphlet our vet gave me) that as bearded dragons get older, you should be decreasing the amount of live food offered and go to mostly a salad and veggies, with animal matter (crickets, superworms, frozen/thawed mice) biweekly or less.

That looks a bit more realistic to me,merlin has about 5 cricks and 2 or 3 superworms and Guinevere has similar per day plus they both love the salad all day. Both are a year old.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
