what color slate

well im building a new enclosure and im gonna do slate tiles, my question is, what color slate should i get? i want to go with black but dont know if that would get to hot from the basking light or if it would make the tank to hot....

any advice would be great

I'd pick what has best traction and go from there

you should go with whatever color you like best. black shouldn't make the tank too hot.
