This is on Stubbs, shes a little under a year and she is shedding right now. They're also on my other lizard who is two in the same area. I thought it might've been mites but its weird its in the same area on both lizards, I also checked some pictures of reptilian mites and it doesn't look the same. Their behavior hasn't changed at all. I haven't ever really payed any attention to under their legs so I don't know how long its been there.

Sorry, Friday night is probably not the best time for an answer. Maybe someone will know in the AM. I take it they don't wash off? I can't help, but am interested in the answer. You say neither one seems bothered by them? Hmmm.... curious. :dontknow:
Hope you get some info soon.

Good news SobeMC, they are femoral pores, and most lizards have them and they are perfectly normal. They tend to be more visuable around beardie sexual maturity, males tend to have more pronounced femoral pores. As your little girl gets bigger you'll notice the pores more easily. To be honest as to what their function is, scientist still only speculate. One popular idea is that they leave scent markers to help male and females match up with each other, some say the fact that they are more pronounced on males suggests something directly involved in the mating aspect. As your girl gets older you'll notice they will form a straight line on the bottom side of both her thighs. On males they will look very big by comparison and almost look waxy. Hope this helps

PS, the dots by the cloaca (anus) are not femoral pores however, hate to ask this gross question, but is it perhaps a bit of feces? Or dirt maybe? Its most likely nothing so don't be worried.

haha thats good news. I could never remember noticing them before.... And it might be dead cricket remains, whenever I put new crickets in there she always runs over them and i try my best to clean most of the little pieces up. x3
Thanks for every ones help! I just wanted to make sure everything was okay.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
