Weird thing on beard

As you can see here, my beardie has this weird thing on his beard!? Help please!?

Have you tried cleaning it off to see if its just dirt?

Of not, what bulbs do you use and what is your tank, and what is his diet?

I have tried and it doesn't come off. I just got him march 9th. He gets fed dubia, hornworms, phenix worms, butterworms, and small supers. He's 5 months old. He's in an exo terra large 40 gallon tank. He has a reptisun 10.0 mounted inside his tank and I have a halogen flood light for his basking bulb and a low wattage flood light for extra light and heat.

Has he recently shed? It looks to me like he's rubbed his chin on something and is missing a few scales. I would keep an eye on it and if it should get any worse I seek a vets help for it.
