Weird discoloration

My dragon started shedding on his tail, feet, and part of his beard, but two or three days ago this odd gray spot appeared. It on his lower back in-between his back legs...if that makes sense. My boyfriend said that sometimes when reptiles shed it may lead to them dying.... Is it true? :?

Uneven sheds are very normal in beardies. Someone just a day or 2 ago posted a pic in the same area that you mentioned, on the underside between the legs. You can post a pic to be safe, but it's probably fine.

Well, I know uneven shedding is common but the grey spot worries me. Ill post some pics soon though.
