Weird breathing after eating

Apollo just turned a year old and is 19" and ~430grams...he eats around 20grams of Dubia a day and has fresh greens offered all day and sometimes will eat some fruit but he much prefers the greens (kale & mustard greens mix)
He acts completely fine the first bit of bugs but then as he gets close to being finished after he swallows his beard will fill up and a huff to pull it back in. He will do that for less than a minute then is fine. His color doesn't change just the puffing out. Is this normal or is he maybe trying to eat too much and it's like a gag reflex? I was worried the bugs may be too big so I started only feeding the medium (~1inch) to see if it made a difference but it didn't. Any input is appreciated!! Thanks

It sounds like he has a healthy appetite! I see them puff out their beards like that after meal time quite a bit. I think of it like a burp and don't worry about it much. It doesn't seem to bother them at all.
