I noticed about a week ago, when my beardie does poo that day, she does so twice and I've also noticed a pattern: The first poo looks like a normal one, the second one looks like mostly water -- quite a bit of water too. Now that I'm using paper towels as substrate (because she has pinworms and coccidia and I'm treating her), I can see more clearly what was in the poos. The second watery poo covers quite a big surface area of the paper towel. But it's not dark, or red, or anything. There isn't really any colour, except for the slightest tinge of yellow. So I am assuming it is mainly water, and maybe a little bit of urates in there. It can't be diarrhea if there aren't any feces in it, correct?
Actually, I think even her first poo has quite a bit of water in it, but not as much. It also looks like just water and the feces look normal. Maybe this has to do with how I've also started feeding her silkworms a week ago? Do those contain a lot of water or something? Am I right in thinking that this is completely normal and she is just really, really well hydrated and I shouldn't be worrying about this at all? Anyways I guess it's not really "watery poo" it's just normal poo with lots of water alongside it.
