Wants to be handfed veggies?

I have a 5-6mo old beardie & he's gotten to the point where he only eats his veggies well if I hand feed him. He used to clean out the veggie bowl on his own but not anymore. I feed him a few bites, put the bowl by him to finish the rest on his own, & he literally glares at me like I've offended him! He's gaining weight & growing well but I want him to go back to eating them on his own. Any suggestions??

He has you trained well Tigger, lol!
Don't put to much emphasis on veggies, he needs more bugs at his age anyway. At least he now knows veggies are food, most dragons don't bother with veggies till almost a year and, a half old, you are fortunate. He will be fine just offer them Dailey, if he wants them, he'll eat them.

Haha that's what I was thinking. Spoiled momma's boy is training me already! No problem eating his bugs. Thanks & I'll just wait for him to come around to the idea of eating his veggies on his own.

We all get trained on one level or another but most people don't realize its happening, lol!
