wahhh help me with basking bulbs

To start this off, Every Ceramic Heat Emitter I got ...well, one fell on my head and broke (and burnt the hell out of my carpet ) and on just stopped working, so i bought another one, that never worked in the first place, those were all 150 watts, and I still have a 100W that I have to use for my BD right now, so the basking temperature is 90 D:. Its been like this for the past 2 1/2 days, so yesterday i go to the pet store and they don't really have much of a selection, as almost every bulb was gone (except for all the sun-glos of course)

I ended up buying a MVB, 160W Solar Brite, as it was 40 dollars compared to 70 (which i think was a Mega-Ray)(and i cannot spend that much money right now) so I come home with the Solar brite..turn it on ...and it didn't work!? although I think every bulb i got from that pet store is 3 years old...I had no choice, well... I am stuck on what to get my BD now..

I have Repti-Glo (the long tube) and a repti-glo bulb (at one end of the terrarium)

Butt... I don't know if I should get a
MVB *I knowthat it is a power sun>*

or a
zoo-med basking heat bulb(

)...or some other kind of basking heat bulb will do

I currently have two separate enclosures and am a fan of the Powersun MVB's. They are an excellent bulb and are wonderful to have uvb and heat all in one so there's no need for a tube light or any other fixture bulb. These bulbs also last a year before needing to be replaced and come with a year warranty.

The other option would be to buy a repti-sun 10.0 tube and use a high enough wattage household bulb or the zoo-med basking spot bulb. The repti-sun's must be replaced every 6 months.

Most importantly you need to have a source of uvb and maintain the correct basking temps.

A good place to find the Powersun's in 160 watt is on ebay where these are about $30-40. Also check online at petmountain.com or lllreptile.com
